The Experience
The journey sets off from Wangetti with a gentle, steady climb along old forestry trails into the foothills of the Great Dividing Range.
After roughly an hour walking beneath native canopy and watching for local wildlife, a short stretch of creek rock-hopping delivers you to the hidden oasis of Hartley’s Falls. Take a well-deserved swim under the cascading water, soak up the cool mountain air, and refuel with a fresh light lunch. Next, the trail leads across to Flat Rock Falls, where natural cascading rock spas offer the ideal spot to lounge and float.
The hike out tracks high above Hartley’s Creek, treating you to open views across the sunny Far North Queensland coastline before you head back to base.
