The Experience
Long before modern riders arrived, this trail served as an Indigenous hunting route, later opened up in 1877 for miners hauling gear and gold between the Hodgkinson goldfields and the coast. Today, it’s an absolute bucket-list ride.
The adventure sets off deep in the Daintree foothills, weaving through rolling cross-country trails, technical singletrack, and tranquil freshwater streams. The undeniable highlight comes as you tip over the range: an uninterrupted, 2km+ downhill run that drops you out of the mountains at high speed.
To wrap up an unforgettable day in the saddle, you’ll pop out of the rainforest and onto the wide-open sands of Four Mile Beach for a breezy coastal cruise to the finish line.
